  MAUI VE TESTING SCHEDULE AND INFORMATION

IMPORTANT NOTE:

The Haleaka Repeater on 147.02 is now KH6HPZ/R . KH6HPZ is the Hawaii State RACES Assn - State Civil Defense. KH6H is still the control operator.

This  RACES repeater  requires a sub-audible tone of 103.5 for access  

(effective May 13,2012). You must program the 103.5 Hz tone on your transmit frequency (147.62).

If desired, the tone can also be programmed on your receiver (147.02) frequency which will keep computer RFI, etc. 

from opening the squelch on your radio. Most radios may only require that you enter the tone frequency once - 

check your operating manual for the correct procedure for your radio.
